Kimani Carson, age 15 is a gifted young singer that found her voice amongst participating in Newark Symphony Hall Summer Performance Arts Academy in 2009. Prior years 2001-2008 Kimani studied jazz, hip-hop, and tap where she was a member of Maria Priadka School of Dance in South Orange, NJ, Sharon Miller School of Dance in Montclair, NJ and The Peppermint Workshop in South Orange, NJ. During her time within these dance companies, Kimani participated in various performances, recitals and dance showcases. Recently, she completed acting classes with Multicultural Academy of Performance & Arts in Hoboken. Kimani is a cheerleader for the North Plainfield High School “Canucks”. She currently attends Agape Family Worship Center in Rahway, NJ. In addition, Kimani is a member of Delta Teen Mentoring program, where she focuses on identifying and developing soft skills of character, confidence, and compassion that assists with structured growth into her young adulthood.
